To enter the contest you must first register using the Registration Form. Limit one valid entry per person and/or email address. Contestants can register before March 16, 2008, but can only make bracket selections during the official entry period from 9:00 PM ET on Sunday, March 16 to 12:00 PM ET on Thursday, March 20, 2008.

Note: If you signed up for one of our contests last year, there's no need to re-register. (You can simply update your profile when prompted and login using the same username and password.) If not, you will need to register specifically for this contest even if you are already a member of BetJamaica.com. Just fill out the basic information and provide your account number from BetJamaica.com. If you do not yet have an account at BetJamaica.com, please visit:
http://www.betjamaica.com/default.aspx?P=3&S=3
In order to win the full value of the prizes indicated, the contestant must have an account and place at least the minimum required "real money" wagers during the contest as outlined in the Prize Notes section below (a "real money" wager being defined as one made with actual deposit funds, not other prize or bonus monies). If not, the contestant will only receive 25% of the indicated value.

The organizers of Million Dollar Tourney Madness, Olympus Entertainment Group and its contest administrator (hereafter collectively "Contest Providers"), are not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, illegible, incomprehensible or misdirected entries, bugs, failures in servers, hardware or software transmission failure or lost, delayed or corrupted data transmission. Entries will be declared made by the authorized account holder of the e-mail address submitted at the time of entry. "Authorized account holder" is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an email address by an Internet Access provider, on-line service provider, or other organization (e.g., business, educational institution etc.) that is responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted email address. All entries become the property of Contest Providers and will not be returned to entrant. Multiple entries by the same person using one or more email accounts may result in disqualification. No mechanically or electronically reproduced entries will be accepted. All entries must be submitted from a valid email account that may be identified by reverse domain name search. Potential winners may be requested to provide Contest Providers with proof of identification (address and birth date) and proof that the potential winner is the authorized account holder of the email address associated with the winning entry.

ODDS OF WINNING/METHOD OF PLAY

The odds of winning are dependent on the number of qualified entries received and the skill used in making your picks. Contestants will compete against one another in an attempt to earn the most points accrued by selecting the winners in the 2008 Men's College Basketball Championship Tournament ("Tournament"). Contestants will also be asked to submit an answer to three tie-breaking questions, which will be used to decide winners in the cases of a tie. The contestants who accumulate the most points (and, if necessary, are declared winners by virtue of the tie-breakers) will win the prizes as set forth in the Prizes section below. Each contestant's points earned from each correct prediction made will be added together to determine his/her ranking for the overall prizes.

HOW TO ENTER

After you register, proceed to the Enter/Change Picks page and submit your picks anytime during the official entry period from 9:00 PM ET on Sunday, March 16 to 12:00 PM ET on Thursday, March 20, 2008. Follow all additional instructions listed on that page, observing all posted deadlines.

Complete your entry by filling out the brackets for the four regions and final rounds of the Tournament, making sure to use the Submit button at the bottom of the pages for each bracket. In order to fill out a valid bracket you must choose a winner for each match-up that is consistent with the prior match-ups. When you press the Submit button your picks will be checked for consistency and you will be told whether or not they were accepted. If not you will be asked to correct them and resubmit.

You will also be asked to predict the number of points scored by the winning and losing teams in the Championship game and the most points scored by one player in the Championship game which will serve as the Tie Breakers in the event of a tie.

The entry deadline is posted on the page. No submissions will be accepted after the deadline for any reason. The sole determinant of time for the purposes of the Promotion will be the servers of the Contest Providers. Contestants entering picks close to the deadline do so with this information in mind.

Entry Notes:

  • Only one valid entry is allowed per contestant and/or e-mail address. An entry is valid as long as it contains at least one completed bracket by a registered contestant.
  • Any picks received after the deadline will be void.
  • You may change your picks any time before the deadline.

WINNER SELECTION AND TIE-BREAKING PROCEDURES

For each matchup in which you correctly pick the winner, you are awarded the points specified for correct picks for that round which will be used to rank you relative to the other contestants. The more total points you earn, the better your rank will be. The number of points awarded for correct picks increases each round in the Tournament as described below. Contestants who fail to submit all four brackets and the final rounds, but who submit at at least one bracket may still be eligible for prizes, however their chances of winning may be reduced by not submitting all five.

Tie-breaker(s)
Amongst people tied in points, the tie-breaking questions of
1) "How many points will be scored by the winning team in the Championship game?",
2) "How many points will be scored by the losing team in the Championship game?", and
3) "How many will be the most points scored by one player in the Championship game?",
will be used to break ties: the closer your predicted total is to the actual total the better. Finally, if there are still ties, then the person whose picks were submitted earlier will be ranked better. Note that if you submit your picks and then change them, we will use the time we received your last set of picks for the purposes of the final tie-breaker.

The top contestants will win the prizes listed on the Prizes page and indicated below.
